Weddings and other Exclusive Use Rentals

Randall Museum is available for weddings and other events, offering exclusive use of the entire facility. With an onsite parking lot, extensive grounds, spectacular views, unique spaces and exhibits, Randall Museum provides an amazing venue for a uniquely San Francisco event. 
 

Randall Museum’s unique location offers both creative opportunities and challenges. Please consider if:

• You like the idea of being on a secluded hillside in the center of the City
• You understand that this hill is located where the weather and wind is mercurial and often unpredictable
• You like to use spaces creatively and have a variety of experiences in one setting
• You understand that there is not one room with space for a large sit-down dinner but are happy to consider other options
• You want a venue that shows off the City of San Francisco and the local flora, fauna, marine life, and geology
• You like the idea of supporting an educational institution that provides diverse programming for the entire community
• You understand that as a public museum we have limited availability for events, storage, planning, etc.
• You are like the idea of coordinating so that the site can reflect your vision with a limited amount of set-up and clean-up

Some other things to know

• Exclusive rentals include parking lot, grounds, all public spaces
• Access to theater, live animals, art projects upon request
• Other studio spaces such as ceramics or wood shop are off limits
• Pre-event coordination and one on-site staff person included
• Limited set-up and clean-up times so that museum can operate regular programs
• Use of museum tables, chairs, sign-boards included
• Most other supplies to be provided by client
• Smoking only allowed in parking lot
• Alcohol subject to agreement included in contract
