Birthday Parties

The Randall Museum is available for kids birthday parties or birthdays for children of all ages on selected Sundays. The facilities are fully accessible with free onsite parking.

Weddings and other Exclusive Use Rentals

The Randall Museum is one of the most unique wedding venues in San Francisco. Your wedding or event will have exclusive use of the entire facility. The museum offers an onsite parking lot, extensive grounds, spectacular views of the city and bay of San Francisco, unique indoor and outdoor spaces, access to the museums exhibits, and is fully accessible. Our fully equipped kitchen is available to outside caterers.

Corporate Events

The Randall Museum offers excellent event space to hold a corporate or business event. Your business or corporation will indicate support for public free museums and the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department by renting the Randall. The Randall facilities are well equipped, fully accessible and include onsite free parking, a fully equipped kitchen, a theater with a capacity of 180 people, and two beautiful multi-purpose meeting rooms with natural light and wonderful San Francisco views.

The Randall can be a great match for your event but here are some things to consider:

  • Diverse programming takes place throughout the museum every day; so availability is limited and there is little capacity for on-site storage and pre-event on-site preparation
  • Randall’s Event Coordinator will help you assess if the venue is a good match for your event; and will provide planning support to ensure you event is successful
  • With its many different spaces the Randall is a great venue for a creative event planner who either loves to coordinate things themselves or is happy to hire a professional event coordinator
  • Rentals include designated times, spaces, use of tables and chairs and an on-site staff person
  • Additional fees include access to Live Animal Room, additional staff, cleaning deposit for theater, optional janitorial services
  • Renters are responsible for set-up and clean-up unless they pay fees for additional staff and janitorial services
  • No alcohol at children’s events
  • Alcohol may be served at adult events – an alcohol agreement is included in rental documents
