Middle School Science Fair
February 28th – March 4th
We are excited to bring back the San Francisco Middle School Science Fair this year! Science projects will be on display for public viewing Tuesday, February 28th through Saturday, March 4th, during regular museum hours 10am – 5pm.
The goal of the Fair is to emphasize the joy and accessibility of science and participation over competition; therefore, winners are not awarded cash prizes, but instead are offered a day trip to a Bay Area location of educational and entertainment interest.
Top placing students will be eligible to move on to the SF Bay Area Golden Gate STEM Fair and then possibly the California Science and Engineering Fair!
Science Festival
March 4th – 10:30 am – 4:00 pm
This year’s celebration includes a special family-friendly Science Festival for visitors of all ages. Kids and their families can enjoy free live animal encounters, discover more information with community partners from the science world, and for a small fee, drop in to explore the fun of hands on science from 10:30am – 4:00pm.
