The Randall Museum offers day and evening classes covering a wide range of interests, as well
as drop-in programs, for preschoolers to senior citizens. Classes are offered in four
sessions per year: Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. We also offer a series of extremely
popular summer day camps each year; complete information will be available by March 1.

Youth Classes are from 1-9 weeks in length, after school and on Saturdays.
Special sessions and workshops are often scheduled during spring and winter school vacations.
These classes are for young people, usually between ages 6 and 17. Popular courses include
"Randall Clay Club," "Robotic Challenge," and "Kids' Woodworking."
Family Classes, offered on both Saturdays and weekdays, provide an opportunity for preschool
and school-aged children and their adults to explore a variety of arts and crafts together.
Favorites include "Parent/Child Woodworking," "Families Exploring
Ceramics," and "Little
Artists."
Adult Classes provide opportunities for adults to explore such varied topics as
"Zen and Sawdust," "Telescope Making," and "Clay
Extravaganza." Sessions
typically meet 8-10 times on evenings and Saturdays. Teens are welcome in some adult classes;
check the class description for age requirements.

Class Registration
The San Francisco Recreation and Park Department has moved to online
registration for all of its classes and programs, and the Randall Museum is
proud to be one of the first facilities to offer this service.
Online registration for
Fall 2010 classes opens at 10 am
Saturday, July 31 for members of Randall Museum Friends
and Saturday, August 7 for the general public.
To use the system, you must first complete a one-time family account creation process.
Please visit sfreconline.org to create
your family account. Or,
click here to download the family account
form. Fill out the form, then mail it to the Randall Museum, 199 Museum Way, San Francisco,
CA 94114, or fax it to 415-554-9609, with copies of the following items:
- Proof of age for all household members (passport, birth certificate, or California driver license or state ID card – optional for adults; required for children under 18 and those wishing to enroll in programs specifically for senior citizens)
- For children age 5 and under only, proof of immunization
Please do not send original documents in the mail. The document copies you send to us
will be shredded upon creation of your account to protect your privacy.
Please be sure to include your email address for access to online registration, class
confirmation, schedule changes, and account updates. All information provided will be used only
for purposes of program registration.
Once we have received and processed your family account form, you should receive an email with
your account login information. Go to http://sfreconline.org
with your login ID and PIN to register for classes online. We are now able to accept Visa and
Mastercard for payment of class fees. You will have access to realtime class enrollment information
and instant confirmation of your registration or wait list status (no more waiting for registration
lottery results!).
If you already have a family account in this system, you can go
directly to the city's program registration website,
http://sfreconline.org, to sign up for classes. If you
did not receive or have lost your login information, you can retrieve it by entering the email
address you provided when you created your account.
If you cannot or do not want to register online, or if you wish to pay by cash or check,
you can register for classes in person at the Randall Museum, Tuesday through
Friday
between 10 am and 5 pm (sorry, we are not currently able to accept walk-in registrations during
the evening). You may also register at McLaren Lodge Annex, 501 Stanyan St.
(at Fell St., in Golden Gate Park), Monday through Friday between 9 am and 5 pm. You
may also create your family account in person at either of these locations.
If you have any questions about the new registration system, please consult
